The
son of 2-time California Racing Association Champion
Bubby Jones, Tony has been one of the top competitors on
the 410 West Coast Sprint car circuits over the past
decade, and a ride with the No. 4 Alexander team in 2006
helped him take eight checkered flags and a third-place
finish in the USAC/CRA Sprint Car Series.

- 2002
– Competed in one National Sprint Car Series
feature, during “Indiana Sprint Week,” which came
at Bloomington Speedway
- 2004 – Finished ninth in inaugural season of CRA
Sprint Car Series competition under this
organization's banner, making 22 of the 30 features
with a season-best fourth on four occasions – all of
which came at Perris, Calif. – and ended the year
with 13 Top-10 finishes; Also set fast time on two
occasions
- 2005 – Finished 11th in CRA point standings after
taking part in only 24 of the 39 races; Captured 13
Top 10s, with a pair of seconds his best results
- 2006 – Won eight CRA Sprint Car Series races,
including the Salute to the Indy 500, the season
finale Jack Kindoll Classic, and six other races at
Perris, to claim third in the point standings; Six of
eight wins came in the final 19 races of the season,
including the Friday preliminary of the Budweiser Oval
Nationals, which also happened to be first National
Sprint Car Series feature triumph

Began Sprint car career after securing enough money
for his own deal and promptly won a trophy dash at
Lincoln Park Speedway in Putnamville, Ind.
